Reporting directly to our Head of People and Culture, you will provide exceptional HR services to the entire network plus play an important role in building team engagement.

  • Coach Managers and Franchise Partners on HR and Payroll best practice and ensure procedures and practices are in line with employment legislation;
  • Increase and monitor engagement across the network, managing regular engagement surveys and pulse checks, working with Managers to deliver on engagement action plans;
  • Promote a performance-driven culture by supporting and coaching Managers/Franchise Partners to effectively manage performance;
  • Analyse people data to make the right strategic decision for the business and/or provide advice based on findings;
  • Ensure a ‘Safety First’ mentality across the business through robust safety procedures and reporting processes;

Supply Chain Coordinator

 As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Supply Coordinator to join our Support Office Operations Team, Reporting to the General Manager – Operations. As the Supply Coordinator, you will ensure the reduction of COGS across the network by executing effective sourcing and distribution tactics that support high quality, food-safe and cost-effective ingredients, packaging, products and services into Schnitz stores. This role is also responsible for maintaining healthy relationships between Schnitz and its supplier partners.

 

The Role Recipe:

  •  Ensure all eligible rebates are collected within reasonable time-frames
  •  Implement a continuous improvement process that ensures the reduction of COGS across the network
  • Analysis and reporting of COGS impacts across the business due to changes in cost changes and impacts
  • Ensure business needs are met by suppliers and account managers while maintaining positive relationships
  • Ensure the effective rollout of product within agreed time-frames
  • Ensure if the SLA is not being upheld, an escalation point is identified to resolve the issue so that there is either no or minimal impact to the business
  • Monthly review of supplier product movement and SOH positions in all distributors
  • Implementation of all approved cost price changes into documentation and business systems (POS/Recipe etc.)
  • Effective resolution of issues – managing and resolving daily and ad-hoc procurement supply issues as they might apply to all suppliers
  • Day to day management and resolution of distribution issues involving orders, non-deliveries, quality issues, and pricing
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure that stock is available to the network (for example NSO – sourcing, management, and delivery of new store ‘starter packs’ for small wares and consumables inline with D&C / NSO requirements, Menu changes, Support of special company projects such as events that Schnitz might be involved with e.g. Marketing photo-shoots
  • Sourcing and procurement of any new ingredients/ product requirements as determined by the NPD

Key ingredients:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (food/hospitality/retail experience well regarded)
  • Experience working in a Procurement function in a related industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all customers and suppliers
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing and distribution within Australia
  • Good analytical skills and systems experiences
