Schnitz is proud to partner with the St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies) as part of the 2026 Vinnies CEO Sleepout campaign.
From Monday 25 May to Monday 29 June 2026, Schnitz restaurants nationally will support fundraising efforts to help raise awareness and critical funds for Australians experiencing homelessness.
Schnitz is very proud to be a part of this important cause, supporting our communities through real action, meaningful conversations, and collective participation across our restaurants, teams and Guests.
What Is the Vinnies CEO Sleepout?
The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a national fundraising initiative where business and community leaders spend one night sleeping outdoors to help raise awareness and funds for people experiencing homelessness.
This year’s CEO Sleepout will take place nationally on Thursday 18 June 2026.
While one night can never truly replicate the experience many Australians face every day, the event helps shine a light on the realities of homelessness while supporting Vinnies’ essential services across the country.
If you would like to support our teams and restaurants participating in the Sleepout, you can also donate to them, to help us reach our goal of raising $500,000.
How Guests Can Support
From the 25th of May to the 29th of June, Guests visiting Schnitz restaurants will have the option to make a donation when purchasing their meal in the following amounts:
- $1 donation
- $2 donation
- $5 donation
You can make a donation in store, online, and through app. Excluding Uber Eats delivery.
Every contribution helps support the incredible work Vinnies does across:
- Community assistance initiatives
- Emergency accommodation
- Meals and food relief
- Crisis support services
- Long-term support programs
