1. Information on prizes and how to enter forms part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this competition (Competition) is deemed full acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. 
  2. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate and Schnitz Franchises, are ineligible to enter. For the purpose of these Conditions of Entry, the Promoter is Schnitz Marketing Pty Ltd, ACN 603 725 462, Level 10, Como Tower, 644 Chapel Street, South Yarra VIC 3141.
  3. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. All entries will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit. 
  4. Each entrant warrants and represents to the Promoter that the literary / creative work submitted as part of their entry is an original copyright work of the entrant and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, and each entrant indemnifies the Promoter for any loss or damage incurred as a result of any breach of this warranty. All entries, including all copyright works submitted, are assigned to and become the property of the Promoter on submission of the entry, and may be edited by the Promoter for marketing and publicity purposes. 
  5. The Competition commences on 15 June 2020. Entries close at midnight on 29 June 2020. Entries will be judged on 1st July 2020.
  6. The 15 most deserving families, as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, will win $1,000 each. The $1,000 will be transferred directly into the entrant’s nominated bank account within 28 days from 1st July 2020.  If the entrant is 16 years or under, the $1,000 will be transferred to the bank account of the entrant’s nominated parent or legal guardian.  If the entrant does not have a bank account, the entrant may instruct the Promoter to pay the $1,000 into a nominated family member’s bank account. 
  7. The winners will be notified by email and telephone using the contact details provided on the entry form. If, after fourteen (14) days of selecting the winners, the Promoter has been unable to contact a winner despite making all reasonable attempts, an alternate winner will be chosen in the same manner set out in paragraph (c) above. The reasonableness of the attempts to contact a winner will be at the sole discretion of the Promoter. 
  8. The entrant may not transfer the prize, except as permitted by paragraph (g) above.
  9. The Promoter’s decision in relation to all aspects of the conduct of the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the Promoter’s decisions. 
  10. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties including, but not limited to, its agents, contractors and service providers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. By entering into this Competition, the entrant hereby consents and agrees that the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised by an entrant, use the information provided for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Promoter, including the sending of electronic messages. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. 
  11. The Promoter, its contractors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of, arising out of, or in any way connected with, the Competition and/or its prize/s, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. 
  12. Tax implications may arise from the receipt or use of a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
